The Metropolitan Tea Company began operations with company personnel who had been involved with the international tea business as tea tasters and traders since 1978.
The company sells it's products to selected retailers throughout North America, the Caribbean, the Far East and Europe.
They travel extensively to the tea producing regions of the world. Their experience in the tea trade allows them to buy direct from the top estates but most importantly, evaluate the quality of the tea through thorough olfactory and tasting methods.

Clare bakes our biscotti, scones, and other sweet confections. Clare has been a wholesale baker in Centre County since 1988. Working from her home in Pleasant Gap, she owns and operates Sweet Indulgence Desserts. Baking fresh treats using locally grown ingredients is especially important to her. A cake made and eaten without ever seeing a freezer -- that's how it's supposed to be experienced.
